You don’t need a wide array of fancy ingredients to whip up an immune-boosting shot. You can find many of these ingredients in your pantry. We have a couple of 3-ingredient shot combinations that feature the below superstars. Read below for more details on the ingredients.
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) – ACV is made from the fermented, unstrained juice of crushed apples. They’re rich in many of the same nutrients that apples are. Things like potassium, vitamin C, antioxidants, and vitamin E. The “mother” in apple cider vinegar contains a colony of bacteria that work as probiotics. According to this study, probiotics have an immune-boosting effect.
Ginger – Ginger boasts potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that can help curb chronic inflammation, which messes with immune system responses.
Turmeric – Turmeric is a bright yellow-orange spice commonly used in curries and sauces and plays well in juice shots too. It’s known for its medicinal, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. An active ingredient in turmeric, curcumin, has also been found to help reduce pain.
Lemon- Lemons contain zinc and vitamin c. Zinc is a trace element that helps regulate the immune system.
Cayenne Pepper- Some herbalists use this spice to activate the circulatory system. It’s a great addition to food or a juice shot!

Directions
- Cayenne + ACV shot
- Take 1/2 tablespoon of cayenne pepper with a teaspoon of acv and 1/8 cup water
- Ginger + Turmeric + Lemon
- Mix 1/2 tablespoon ginger (1/4 inch blended if you’re using raw ginger root) + 1/2 tablespoon turmeric + juice of 1/4 lemon and 1/8 cup water
- Turmeric + ACV
- Mix 1/2 tablespoon turmeric + teaspoon of acv with 1/8 cup water
