We teamed up with Amanda from earth made kitchen to create dinner and dessert in 30-minutes. She shared an easy plant-based truffle recipe that we’re sharing here.
Why its good for you:
Cocoa: The cacao tree is native to the Amazon Basin. Modern research has revealed that it does indeed contain important compounds that can benefit your health. They are rich in polyphonels, a naturally occurring antioxidant. According to this study, they are known to reduce inflammation, better blood flow and lower blood pressure.
Dates: Dates are rich in antioxidants and can also help boost memory. They contain choline, a B vitamin thatโs a component in acetylcholine, the memory neurotransmitter. Higher choline intake is associated with better memory and learning.
Walnuts: Walnuts are a good source of manganese, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamin b6, and iron. Additionally, results of a study published in 2009 suggested that a diet that is high in walnuts improved lipid and cholesterol profiles. This can help lower the risk of coronary heart disease.
